Pettingel
Does anyone know how the snow is above Herman Lake on Pettingel? The last conditions update states there is some snow for about 800' above the lake, then patchy from there. Just curious if anyone has an update or any current pictures.
Re: Pettingel
I was up there Sunday.
Just past the lake you had to climb a short snow field ~200 ft. Then avoidable until summit ridge. You can avoid snow on summit ridge but you trade it for loose scree

To climb is to push yourself in a way you might not normally imagine is possible. If your stamina, skill, and luck are sound you will get to stand on top. ... I realized that with climbing, I'd found something that nourished my soul and could forge me into a better version myself - Jim Davidson

Re: Pettingel
It was probably my condition report that you're referring to from a few weeks ago. Sounds like a lot of snow has melted off since then. Have fun!
