I've wanted this for awhile, I think I have a line picked out from the hot spring. But no, I have no data.

If solely climbing Keefe, the peak is best accessed from Conundrum Creek. To keep the peak class 2, gain the Keefe-Hillard saddle NORTH of point 13,200. It's a quick romp to the tippy-top from there.

A more aesthetic line would be a steep snow climb on the north face which can accessed via Conundrum Creek just past Silver Dollar Pond. Unlike Keefe's other Elk companions, this peak goes well with or without snow.

Trip report and photos that doesn't require a LOJ login.
