Specifically the loft route on Mount Meeker? wondering if Crampons are necessary? Thank you

Not needed when I climbed 4 weeks ago, so I assume the same is true now. There may be a little snow in the Loft couloir but it is easy to bypass.

Expect a little snow/ice on the exit ramps - they never seem to catch much sun, so snow and verglas are almost always present.

Just went yesterday (Aug 28) and there was avoidable snow in the Loft. The ramp and Meeker route were clear. Just go up climbers left of the snow in the Loft.
