Probably true... I used the old link quite a bit before. It's just that now, it's right there in the open - drawing attention to the 13ers... Just like I am doing on this thread... Oh crap.... ](*,)

I'd put the 13ers link under a "Non-alchoholic beer drinkers" link.

Bill,

I use my Windows Phone device that can access 13ers information in a non-mobile version only, but not a mobile version.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks. I'll have the 13er pages mobile-friendly in the next week or so.

Thanks!

Bill,

Thanks a lot fir adding 13ers list to 14ers.com in a mobile version!

Wonder if you can add the route difficulty to 13ers list criteria for Centennial or Bicentennial 13ers that have the routes already defined. If it takes too much work for you to do, let's forget it.

Keep up the good job!

Bill,
I have been MIA over winter and just found out about the move of the 13ers page. Will the interactive 13er map ever come back? I loved how it showed my check mark on the summits i have done as a quick reminder of where i should be looking to hike. I see the map still works that way for the 14ers.
Hope you can bring it back.
Jenn

Hi Jenn,
If you go to the Map page, in the "14ers" menu (above), you can do the same thing. There is a pull-down on the map which allows you to display 13ers and if you're logged in, it will show you 13ers you've climbed, with a checkmark on the peak marker. Also, if you go to the 13er pages via the "13ers" menu (above) each 13er page has a map and list of local peaks which is integrated with your checklist, so it will show checkmarks.

I hope this helps!

This change broke my workflow! I have a cronjob scheduled to ring an alarm, download a random route, and program the trailhead GPS coordinates into my phone. I then drive wherever the GPS directs me and drop off children at the mountain with the downloaded routs and pictures. Children might die now. Think of the children!

Out of curiosity, if a 13er doesn't have a route on this site, does that mean Bill hasn't climbed it yet?

Re: 13ers Routes

Post by BillMiddlebrook »

I have a list of 13er routes I'd like to add but I'm not sure I'll ever have the time to get them on the site. Regardless of what I add, anyone can add a 13er route description to the site - if you're on the 13er page, there's a button in the routes section.
