Any beta from MLW or Loveland Pass 13ers?

Post by Tornadoman »

Looking to get out for either Mount Lady Washington or the Loveland Pass 13ers (Sniktau/Cupid/Grizzly) Tuesday or possibly Wednesday. I was wondering if anyone had any beta from this weekend after the most recent round of snow.

Thanks!

Was thinking of going up MLW and Storm Peak also on Tuesday if I don't get called in (work). Wanna join forces?

Kiefer, thanks a lot for the offer. I think am going to Loveland Pass as I hope those peaks will be wind blown, and I don't exactly have a lot of snow gear. Am confident that I would be far slower than you as well...

I did Sniktau yesterday and only used spikes. The ridges are all pretty wind blown.

I didn't have the foresight to take pictures for a conditions report, but here's a couple taken by a friend.

Was up Lady W two weeks ago and the N ridge from Granite Pass was mostly clear, only real postholing was just past chasm jct. Of course its snowed since then though so it could be much snowier now.
