I climbed Citadel on 6/11 and posted a trip report.

Also my wife and I hiked Herman Lake today and a lot of snow has melted. Citadel still looked like a snow climb though. Snowshoes not needed to Herman Lake any longer.

I could see a decent amount of snow on the east slopes of Pettingell yesterday but no photos. Good luck!

Great, thanks. Hard to tell from the pictures, was the lake fairly melted? Hoping to use it as a water source.

Mostly frozen but I'm sure you can find some open water. Tons of streams on the way up as well. There's plenty of water around.

Looks good, thanks. The traverse to Pettingell, from what I can tell, looks fairly clear except for a couple spots in the distance
