There are some great spots to camp in Humbug. It is one drainage to the east from Mayflower. Easiest access is from Mayflower on an old miner's road. It crosses the creek not to far past the the main parking area.

My car could only make it to the intersection after the trailhead parking, but that area is littered with camp sites so it didn't matter. Ended up waking up late and wasn't sure about the weather or the 2000 other people already on the trail, so got some brunch and basically jogged Sniktau on the way home because I was concerned about weather. Ended up with perfect weather and that was a nice easy and quick summit for late in the day.
