Approach to Ribbed peak(13085)SW face HCW

Post by Muja »

Hello ,

Looking to approach 13085 and fairview lake from missouri lakes. Any beta appreciated. I haven't decided if I want to camp near missouri pass or try to hike into strawberry lake from missouri pass.

Trying to keep the approach class 2+ or easy 3!

Much Thanks!

Quite a scenic route you have planned. Looking through my pics from Ribbed, it appears quite an ordeal to drop in towards Strawberry Lakes from Blodgett/Missouri. I haven't any first hand experience but via satellite, there's a prominent gully that looks class 2 and quite miserable. Doable though.

Thank you for the input Monster5!

That does seem like a very plausible route. I will let you know how it turns out and hopefully write a TR on it when i return!
