7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs

5 to flame the spell checkers

3 to correct spelling/grammar flames

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another

13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"

5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"

1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.

The lightbulb was only changed because they get a new icon on their 14ers.com profile.

I must create a list of all the lightbulbs I HAVE to change.

I only change CFL's because they are superior to incandescent lightbulbs, and far less people changing them.
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

Not sure if I'll do more 14ers. The trip reports are too tiring.

This was good for a laugh. A few more:

5 to debate the definition of whether the lightbulb has actually been changed

7 to share tales of misfortunes that befell them while the light bulb was out

11 to offer advice for how to correctly wire a hot tub

1 to loudly proclaim plans to have a lightbulb changing party on a summit

15 to inquire about specific details of the recent lightbulb changing accident
3 to tell them it's none of their business and that they should show the victim and family some respect
4 to defend their nosiness as "learning for the better good of the lightbulb-changing community"

3 to criticize Jon Kedrowski because people read his books using lightbulbs

Something like 750,000 people attempt to change a lightbulb every year.

Thousands claim they have changed ALL the lightbulbs in the state.

Those also tend to claim that incandescent lightbulbs are far superior, since far less people changing them, and to do so requires much more expertise.

:YY

P.S. Scott, please do fix the spelling error in the subject line.

I think that request should be sent to that Middlebrook guy. I think the subject line only allows an x-amount of characters.

Hey, look at this --->
