Maybe not, Bill. But as you know, some threads beginning as "General Mountaineering Discussion" lately have morphed into something more like "Off Route". Will you and the moderators provide alert when such threads will be shunted off to "Off Route"? More work for you - we know - hopefully we will stick to thread topics so this won't be necessary.
Good day.

Geez. Next thing we know you'll ban rustic again.
You'll be known as the forum nazi - "No politics for you!"
But on a serious note, I like the change. Nothing worse than people argueing about politics.
Now dogs, that's a different story.

Dogs/politics. Whatever. Everyone loses his/her s**t over both of them (especially rustic), they might as well be one and the same. DYBM crosses all political boundaries, though. ;)

Shouldn't that mean that live4pc dude will also go to the basement as well? He's been all over the home page lately.

I'm interested in what younger (then me) people are focusing on in the political arena. But, it wouldn't be a great loss to ban/delete anything that ventures into that area.

I read more than post here but out of curiosity, anybody have an idea of what the average user age is on this site??

BTW, moving off route = good idea.
