Sony RX100?

Post by Dancesatmoonrise »

Hey, anyone have experience with the new Sony RX100?

Image quality is supposed to be over the top on this expensive pocket cam.
Getting some decent images from a couple of old Canons, but was looking at the S-100, or possibly a single-lens unit (NEX-7.)

Now thinking the RX100 would make a great mountaineering/climbing camera that would be close to one of the new single-lens compacts or SLR. The fast glass would also be appreciated.

I'm a huge fan of my Canon G12 and it's half the price.
