Vail Pass area snow report

We have a reservation for Chucks Cabin November 30-December 1 and were climbing Shrine Mountain and the Wingle Ridge. When booked, it was expected to be a snowshoe, but I assume that there's not much snow around in the area?

I would not worry about snow in that area at all. Be prepared for changing conditions in regards to temperature and wind though.

Packing list: Trail shoes and lots of sunscreen.

I can report that the trail running is great up there right now and the forecast is calling for continued melting of the few remaining snow patches.

I did Uneva about a week ago and it hasn't snowed since. Other than gaitors I didn't use anything else (microspikes, snowshoes, etc). The trail is well packed down lower then I caught a slope with a bit of a south aspect - the snow was 0-3 inches on the slope. You might be able to find a drift or two but for the most part you won't see anything more than about 6 inches.
