Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

I was going to say it reminded me of images of K2 (Karakorams) from some of those videos circulating out there.Dave B wrote:kushrocks wrote:Photo taken yesterday of Pyramid from the saddle at 13k.

Wow, Pilgrim! That's a killer shot! Love the B/W.
Would you mind if I used that on my Pyramid Peak page over on SP? Credit of course will be noted.
Sweet capture.

Re: Let's see your black & whites!!
Not B&W I call it Black & Blue.
Looking for something different to photograph one morning in Arches National Park instead of the usual North Window Arch or Park Avenue scene I opted for a pre-sunrise hike up to the famous Delicate Arch. A typical scene of Delicate Arch will be captured at sunset as it is bathed in warm sunset light. But crazy me thought what type of shot could I get in the early hours of the AM, so this is one of my 'takes' from that morning. Taken with a Medium Format Camera, Pentax 6x7, captured on Fuji Velvia 100 slide film.
