Everest 2 billion pixels
The link takes you to a pic of Everest. When you click on the pic, you then have the ability to zoom in and out and around the pic. If you zoom down to the base of the glacier, you can see all the base camps set up.
Sure puts the size in perspective!

It is hard to believe how many camps are near the glacier. I know that Everest is crowded but wow....

It's in Lukla, the gateway to Mt Everest. Just took this photo a few days ago.

It's only crowded for a few weeks a year. It's completely deserted most of the year as it was when we just visited. It was much cleaner than expected as well, which only a few posters and prayer flags scattered about. It has really been cleaned up in recent years.

It is hard to believe how many camps are near the glacier. I know that Everest is crowded but wow....

Yes. Here are just a few of the ~1300 photos taken. It's going to take a while to sort through them.









Unfortunately, it's had to tell the scale of the peaks from 2d photots. For example, the cliff pictured is 11,000 feet high:
