Back from the Himalaya-a few pics.

Post by Scott P »

Kessler and I are back from the beautiful Himalaya. It was a great trip. We ended up climbing 12 peaks; 3 of them over 18,000 feet; 5 over 17,000 feet. A full trip report will follow. Here are some of the photos.

Unfortunately, it's had to tell the scale of the peaks from 2D photots. For example, the cliff pictured is 11,000 feet high:

We hope that you all had a nice Christmas/Holiday season as well.

Awesome! Glad you got down to the jungle as well. It is quite a neat dichotomy when you go to both environments. I did a similar trip a bunch of years ago and I have had few that topped it. You do need to make those photos larger though. And yes, that is a lot of BAGGING! Congrats.

Sweet pics, I especially like the second one. Looking forward to the TR so I can put some names to those mountains.

Awesome pics Scott,

I have a few pics of Kessler rapping into Alcatraz from the Bogley Robber's Roost gathering (this past October) that I wanted to get to you...

You can touch the void, just don't fall into it.

I fly a starship across the universe divide....and when I reach the other side...I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can. Perhaps I may become a Mountain Man again.
