No crowds, snow fun, camp fire, dog loves it, snowy peaks, so much fun the kid passes out on the sled...
Advantage: Winter, again.
Advantage: Winter, again.

Summer in winter ... snowflakes without snowflakes...a win-win situation if ever there was one. Sign me up.

Not bad....but this one trumps Rick's peach fuzz. Until he grows a real beard that is.

I shaved off the beard this weekend in protest of this joke of a winter. Looking forward to MTBing and/or trail running a 14er this weekend.

Single digit temps are no joke. The lack of snow is (a bad joke).

I'm no longer Chewbacca. I shaved too. But not out of protest like Bean.

Re: Dreamin of summer
This would have been much more enjoyable in September, although it was satisfying to see all my admonitions to Broncos fans about John Fox come true. Crossfitter, the Champion of Summer, lost a wager on this game and now must hike two winter 14ers. Dreamin of summer, indeed.
"There have been joys too great to describe in words, and there have been griefs upon which I cannot dare to dwell; and with those in mind I say, Climb if you will, but remember that courage and strength are nought without prudence, and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime. Do nothing in haste; look well to each step; and from the beginning think what may be the end." - Edward Whymper

I posted this next photo over on cc, but I think it fits this thread too. Another example of a cold winter's day.....
Screw summer. Calendar winter is here, deal with whatever it gives us!
