CO-82 Conditions

Postby michaelgrundy » Fri Jan 18, 2013 12:47 pm

All -

My buddy's and I were thinking about hitting La Plata from the Standard Route (Winter Variation) on Saturday and upon looking at COTrip.org, i noticed that they have that area marked at "closed for the season". I know that another member posted a peak conditions report on here last week, but I was wondering what the road was like. Did he have to hike the extra distance?

Any information on CO-82 up to the trail head would be much appreciated!

Thanks

"Just past" as in you can get to the standard La Plata TH just fine.
