Nice shots, sissy. Are you going to write a report? maybe you should.

Thanks Mr. Baker! I probably SHOULD write a trip report, but I'm definitely a "sissy" when it comes to writing - just don't have the time.

Too bad, 'cause you got some great shots up there! You have a real knack for taking great photos, Larry - I especially like the pics you got of Doug nearing the summit of Denali, and on top of Aconcagua. Amazing scenery, and including him in the photos gives some perspective to the stunning expanse - and depth - of landscape. So... when am I going to see a new shot of you at Accolades? I smile every day when I walk in there, see that photo, and think to myself, "Those b*stards went up there without me!" :-D

Sunset looking west from a campsite above 13,000 feet on the west side of Mt Whitney, followed by sunset at Lake Marie, both taken on the John Muir Trail in 2009.

Beyond disappointed I only had phone on me for this (pics do NO justice), but it's forever burned into my memory as the best sunset I've seen yet. IPW from shoulder of 287 just south of Longmont.
