Shout out for Orizaba Partners

Postby Rainier_Wolfcastle » Thu Jan 24, 2013 11:42 am

I would love to give Pico de Orizaba a shot before this dry season ends (preferably late February, March, or early April). None of my current partners are up for it, and I don’t want to solo it or go guided. I have the experience, gear, fitness, and funds. My main desire is to test myself at that altitude before going after something more committing.

I would be up for joining any small groups looking to add one or for putting a new small group together. I get out pretty much every weekend (140K in gain with 46 >13K summits last year) and would be more than willing to go on some training climbs to get comfortable with any potential partners.

Please PM me if interested or have any questions! Also, if anyone has an alternative suggestion for finding partners, please respond.

Thanks,
Shawn

So far I have received 4 responses, with 3 of those having caveats. I am going to wait another day or so before trying to iron out a plan. Please feel free to PM me if interested.

Thanks!
