I don't golf. I just build and renovate the courses! Sorry man.
This raises more questions, rather than answers! Lol
Well to answer your previous question, no, I don't think I have any goofy pants to loan out.
I don't know what additional questions that my comment raises though, but maybe I don't need to know?!
As for the poll results thus far, it's interesting and great to see the 60+ category holding strong with the 26-30 and 31-35 groups!
I guess I always envisioned golf course creators / developers / renovators to be golfers, a la Nicklaus. Perhaps that was a naive vision? But it also raises fun analogies: like being the owner of a hot dog manufacturer that doesn’t eat hot dogs. Hell this could spur better analogies than the analogy thread.
So how did you become a golf course renovator guy without golfing? (This is question 1 of 100).
^ Eatnhardtack (Zach) from this site introduced me to my employer 10 years ago, so see this forum can have more than just man dates on mountains!
I have worked with a member of the Nicklaus team, and on a Tiger Woods designed course ( however he wasn't there for the construction of the 19th hole -- the owner took on direction and design of that one @ Paynes Valley).
I'm 66, have done 14 so far. My first was at age 17. I'm a Colorado native and have lived in a few other states over my lifetime. I have been back to my home state since 1989, finished raising a family, and got a little excited about doing some 14ers. So my second one was at age 58. I still hope to get 6 to 8 more, for a total of 20 to 22 peaks. I have done an equal number of 13ers, and will probably add several more to that list as well.

I'm pushing 75 and still knock out a half dozen or so high peaks every summer.
While I have completed ~50 of the 14ers, I am not interested in completing the rest - just too dangerous.
These days, I enjoy the 13ers more - less crowds and increased challenges in route finding
(although I do still some of the 14ers for sentimental reasons.)
