Damn, my money was on you leading with Fire on the Mountain by Rob Thomas.

- Dig for Fire - Pixies
- Frank's Wild Years - Tom Waits (note the APR)
- Lake of Fire - Meat Puppets

Because who among us hasn't had his or her life saved by rock'n'roll?

found this song while on my 3rd (I think) solo summit outing on coal creek peak, unexpectedly cathartic experience. City lights still shining, but dawn was beginning to tint the horizon. Ever since it has been very deeply connected to my feelings about mountains and sunrises. If I had to pick one song that sounds like first light in the mountains to me, this would certainly be it.

Cocteau Twins are absolutely magnificent. And Liz's new release is just goreous.

Also, if you like Lush, check out Miki's new band Piroshka. First album is the better of the two, but there are good tracks on both.
