Indeed she does.

Was this the show?:

Yes! I had some beer from Elevation Brewing in my hand, a pretty lady by my side and Samantha Fish music playing. All was right in my world.

A great cover by the Clash
Some day our kids will study Clash lyrics in school.

Stuff I'm digging lately.

The Claypool Lennon Delirium - Les Claypool of Primus and Sean Lennon have teamed up for a few albums that have a definite prog/70s feel to them. Their original albums are definitely an acquired taste, but they put out an EP with 4 cover tunes - Astronomy Domine, Boris The Spider, The Court of the Crimson King, and Satori.

The original version of 'Satori' is from this Japanese band called the Flower Travellin Band. If you were a Led Zeppelin fan or dug 70s prog, you should definitely check it that out.

Rapid Fire Toothpick - Omar Rodriguez-Lopez (Mars Volta)

Undertow - Warpaint (sparse sound, love the harmonies, and there is generally some pretty tasty bass in there as well).

Vincent - Car Seat Headrest (reminds me a lot of Radiohead's 'Blow out', my favorite tune from their first album).

The Wolf Man Kindly Requests... - Clutch. My favorite song by Clutch right now. The bass is killer on this.

50 Million Year Trip (Downside Up), Whitewater - Kyuss. My favorite 2 songs by them. Great road trip music.

Has anyone hear ever heard of Zebra? They constantly toured Upstate NY when I was growing up.

"Take your Fingers from my hair" is an absolute classic.

Also, if you grew up listening to 80s metal, here's something for you:

Death By Rock and Roll - The Pretty Reckless. Takes me back to my days of listening to Skid Row.
Habits - The Marmozets. Another one to crank to 11.

^^^ Undertow and Kyuss, yup yup. Will check out the rest, thanks!

I should've mentioned that I am moderate Portishead fan ("play it at my funeral" kinda moderate), but only recently became aware of what appears to be definitive live version of Third album, full concert here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rimk-eAYOH0. The highlight is probably We Carry On rendition:
.

Also worth mentioning that We Carry On is dedicated to Silver Apples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHhfkFS8cGY. Who would've thought that Krautrock origins were in NYC.

Ok, this got me. After the Zeppelin problems, my high school friends and I just happened to listen to this album in 83(?) and made an attachment. A year later we took a fishing trip to Lake Champlain and I remember playing this Zebra tape a lot. Good times
