Blood and Roses is an all-time fave. As is 'Behind the Wall of Sleep' on the same album. Saw them in 1989, fabulous live band too.
Here's a new band. Hope they make it:

The report of Frank Beard's death is a great exaggeration. It was Dusty Hill who died.

It's always cracked me up that the guy in ZZ Top who did not sport notable facial hair has the last name "Beard."
That said, RIP Dusty Hill. May you find the tush firmer on the other side.

Re: Your Top 5 Bands and/or Musicians of all Time
I'm into thematic musical trips recently, like this one for example:
From California (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=temkX9JgPiM&t=2634s) to Croatia (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8zGDU8z34k&t=675s), with layover in Düsseldorf (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V85AjBFDmbI). Better pour a large drink for that last one and let it breathe for a while, but it will be worth it.
After I brought Hainin to her attention, my sister-in-law said that "it has all the makings of a great trip: psychedelia, prog and krautrock, and it's full of Eastern promises". She is nearly always right.
