12ers: Several pages ago, you recommended several songs (not to me). I looked them all up and particularly liked the Naked Giants. Thought of them again recently as I heard a different song on 105.5 a couple of days ago that really rocked. This is the one:

Excellent, I'm still digging Naked Giants.

Here's some songs I've been digging lately:

The Handing Down - Magnolia Electric Co.
Willow - Blackwater Holylight.
Going Inside - John Frusciante.
Colours - Airbag
Himalayan - Band of Skulls
Apocalyptical - Puscifer. I had this in my head all day during a run on Sunday.
longwaytoneverland - Headstones
Simple Human - Fates Warning

Dumb old man here is hoping for assistance in figuring out how to include a YouTube video like you all are doing. Like being able to see the video image instead of just a URL, such as cedica did up there. Throw me a bone here or in a PM?? And poking fun is expected too...

Place the highlighted video ID from this image:
youtubelink.PNG
youtubelink.PNG (468.85 KiB) Viewed 3395 times
between the [YouTubeVideo] tags. Like this....

[YouTubeVideo]hxOUxJfsYi0[/YouTubeVideox]

I intentionally misspelled the closing tag as [/YouTubeVideox] instead of [/YouTubeVideo] so you can see the actual text you want to put in the message.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but maybe worth another look anyway (and now that I know how to imbed these videos :-D ...). While My Guitar Gently Weeps: Petty, Jeff Lynne, Winwood, Prince - Don't miss the guitar solo by Prince at 3:28, wow).

'Member that interview Keith had done with Terry Gross, where he reveals technique used to create Jumping Jack and Fighting Men in embryo?

Should be in the Library of Congress if it isn't there already, along with her Ray Manzarek interview of course.

I remember that from the book. Thanks for sharing the interview. Look forward to listening to all of it soon.

Almost had to be someone as old as I am to appreciate these guys. Hair of the Dog is the classic (is there anything more powerful than the guitar riffs and McCafferty's voice on Miss Misery?), but these two are solid as well. Not in my top 5, but much respect!

I agree, those are their best hits along with "Love Hurts". Just a couple that aren't as mainstream so to speak.
