Petty. Love it! Absolute favorite song of his.
It's one of many treasures Petty left us. Sums up the week pretty good too! My neighbors are telling me not to play it anymore
I love that. Have that dvd which is DAMN good. I could just kick his ass for leaving us too soon. I’ll see if I can find a song video of another band I love and will put it in the 5 favorite band... thread for you later. Thanks for posting this one!
Yeah I love that doc. Watched it a few times on Netflix. The waiting is finally over. The snowpocalypse is here!
Some day our kids will study Clash lyrics in school.

Something is better than nothing I guess, but at least locally it's more of a slushpocolypse so far.

I look forward to seeing what dumped on Longs Peak. I'm hoping those couloirs get filled out. In town it's now a few inches, but hardly newsworthy. Guess my dentist appointment on Monday won't be cancelled!

Looks like the storm of the century finally got cranking - better late than never. Maybe 10-11" here in the North Denver 'burbs.

There's a lil over 2ft of snow in town in Telluride this morning and still coming down hard. The upper elevations would have gotten much more. Most of this fell since last night to this morning.

The snow machine finally got cranking. We have close to a foot in Boulder and it continues to snow steadily.

Highway 40 is closed at the Empire turn off from I-70 as of 10:30. Here is a webcam link, looks like plenty of people got up there before they closed the road.

From a friend who lives two miles south of Divide: "went to bed with about an inch. woke up to this..."

Guess that my thoughts about getting some easy late-season "snowflakes" by Friday are delusional.
"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters." - Norman Maclean
