Supplements for Musculoskeletal Health?

Post by ker0uac »

Do you take any supplements or have special diet to improve musculoskeletal health? I have awful joints. I already eat loads of fresh salmon, so don't need fish oil. I am looking into glucosamine and vit D.

Why do you take it? I ask bc it doesn't show up as one of the main supplements for joint health

I came across it by accident. I initially started taking it for nerve damage and nerve pain in my feet but I found that it also eliminated knee pain. There might be a few studies out there and ya'll can crucify me for making claims based on experience rather than scientific evidence. No worries. :)

Glucosamine. I've been taking it for years for joints. It works. If I stop taking it, I definitely notice after a few weeks. (Don't get suckered into the kind with chondroitin.)

You don't, the soil is depleted and food has much less Mg than it used to. And the form of most minerals in a multi are not very bioavailable. You want mag glycinate.
