the quickest easiest way to lose weight? spend a week camping at the busiest lake you can find, and drink unfiltered water from that lake every day. your weight is guaranteed to plummet in short order.

Those trendy diets are dumb. Losing weight can be a year-long endeavor, you need patience. You shouldn't weigh yourself everyday. In fact, hide that scale. Losing weight is a consequence of revamping your diet and altering your metabolism. You measure your progress by how much you are sticking to that plan.

My tips are to workout on an empty stomach and focus on HIIT exercises. I'd ignore the gym rats who say cardio is a waste of time.

One more tip: drink a lot of water, even when you are not thirsty

I’ll add one thing; it’s easier to lose the weight, than it is to maintain that weight loss. Most diets have very high recidivism rates

I lost 25 pounds in the year before my 14er finisher, but I wouldn't recommend my program - it was extremely expensive, unpleasant, and made my hair fall out. https://www.14ers.com/php14ers/triprepo ... trip=15577

I've also tried the giardia diet three times, and it didn't work for me. YMMV

What a story! You are truly an inspiration, though I wouldn’t want to try that out as a weight loss strategy.

Not too much. (2)
Mostly plants. (3)

1. Things you can recognize. Not just the name but the shape of the ingredient.

2. It's less than you think. Eat small meals more often to combat hunger. Chew some gum.

3. Bread and pasta aren't plants.

If you do those things, and only those things, I promise you'll lose weight. Exercise is like 20 percent, diet is 80 percent of how you look and perform until you get to a high level.

Fortunately when you get older, you have to go to #3 (and take #2 more seriously).

I think you mis-typed a word in your response so I fixed it for you.
Hahaha, no. I love a big plate of pasta and sauce with 8 pieces of garlic bread. Can't do that every other day anymore though, unless I want to weight 100 kilos.
