Well that makes sense considering Jon Kendrowski was his trainer.

Getty images/ Reuters has a May 31, 2021 picture of that days conga line up Everest (starting to look like Bierstadt).

The country tourism bureau said 400 summited this season. But that was the same number as permits, so I am suspicious. A certain number quit early due to what may have been covid symptoms.

While googling for summit counts, I stumbled upon JKs blog claiming a 3rd summit this season.

Ye gods. I guess that picture just demonstrates that people have different goals and have different ideas of what a rewarding mountain experience is all about. That's not an experience I'd enjoy, but I suppose for some people the only thing that matters is getting the summit.

I believe so. It looks like camp 3.

400 summits, but probably 2/3 of those at least were sherpas, not clients with permits.

Kedrowski actually has a patch on his down suit that says "Dr. Jon"

Mike Posner made a music video with his footage of summitting Mount Everest. I've listened to the song twice now and it is pretty darn good. I know some people who participated in this thread last summer complained about his music. Maybe this song will change your mind?

I'm so mad at myself for watching that. I certainly hope this video helps this young man get laid every now and then. I particularly like the part about climbing past dead bodies --- very humble and respectful. Uggg.
Uh. Well, I've sinned. I didn't take any Polaroids or anything. But, yeah, I've sinned.
