Anton's Summer Project

Post by jfm3 »

Anton Krupicka set off this morning on something he's calling the Sagebrush & Summits Bike/Climb Tour. He's riding his bike to and then climbing up: Kings Peak (Utah), Borah Peak (Idaho), Grand Teton (Wyoming), Granite Peak (Montana), Cloud Peak (Wyoming), Gannett Peak (Wyoming), Longs Peak (Colorado). He said on Instagram this morning it's a 3-week trip. As of 3 PM today he's biking past Byers Peak in Grand County.

Neat idea for a trip, but curious about his inclusion of ID, no better way to ruin your outing than visiting here.

Also, first one to comment....wooo!
Everyday is a G r A t E f U L Day here in the ID...?

Idaho has some nice parts, but the area south of Borah is not one of them. Even *driving* through Arco is flat, dry, and boring.

Arco: where simply driving through requires a hepatitis vaccination.

Idaho does indeed have some nice parts, unfortunately you have to travel through endless meth-desolation-land to get to any of them.

4 state highpoints in that list - why not throw in Mt. Elbert? Good luck, Anton!

Difficulty and danger too extreme there.

All I want is to just have fun, live my life like a son of a gun

Sarcasm or not, it's not even funny to post something like this. Not at this time. Reported.
