Status of Kite Lake/Decalibron?
I was hoping to make a run at the Decalibron loop next weekend, but after hearing all of the reports of snow across the state, I'm a little concerned. First, does anybody know if the road/campsite is still open for the season? And second, any ideas as to how much snow the loop got, and if it's still doable? I appreciate the feedback!

Re: Status of Kite Lake/Decalibron?
Don't know the status of the road but the snow that has recently fallen is relatively small (i.e., inches not feet). Probably a good portion will melt off in the next week. Nothing that should change your plans. Microspikes should always be in your pack at this time of year. When snow/ice becomes difficult to avoid, put on your spikes and keep moving.
