Broken 13'er weather links?

Post by CheapCigarMan »

When I click the weather link for a 13'er I get a "blank" screen as shown in the screenshot. I've had this issue for over a week. Is anyone else having this difficulty?
The weather links work fine for 14'ers but don't for 13'ers.

If I click the weather link from the peaks page I get the blank screen. If I click the peak from the weather page I get the forecast.

This was happening to me most of last week, but they work for me now. I believe this may be a NWS issue.

Note, I had copied the weather links into a spreadsheet. Clicking from my spreadsheet, they did not work last week. They work from my spreadsheet now. When I click the links from the 14ers website, they still do not work.

So, this is a 14ers.com issue. If you look at the weather link, the lat and lon values are the same, both values are lat. Probably an easy fix for Bill, just pulling the wrong value from the database for longitude.

^Yup, it was a problem here, not NOAA.

Fixed

I've been having a slightly different issue. When clicking the weather links, whether 14er or 13er, it works the first time, but for any other peak after that I get an error message like this:

That one is on the NOAA site. They frequently throw access and availability errors.
