I will begin working on the 14ers this summer and am so happy to have stumbled upon this site.
It appears to have everything I need to plan accordingly...I AM PSYCHED ! Hope I can handle altitude..be working the NE115.

Welcome! Your NE115 will prepare your legs fine and managing most trips on 14ers, but as you mention the main difference will be the altitude and managing your speed to stave off any AMS.

Speaking as someone who is the same age as you, Clay, just enjoy the climbs at your own pace.
The beauty and joy of climbing is immeasurably enhanced if you can do that. Treat climbs as adventures, not as races.
Good luck and here's hoping you find peace and contentment on all your climbs.
