You guys are awesome! Thanks so much.

The doughnut shop was open...and CROWDED! And you are totally right...nothing tastes better than a couple of those doughnuts after reaching the summit. Don’t forget to bring a mask if you’re planning on going in the gift shop.

I cannot believe you grew up in the Springs and just did this for the first time at 49. Well, good for you! Welcome!

Congrats Sven and what a great looking beard. Lots of 14ers are easier than that beast Pikes. Give another one a shot this summer.

Congratulations on a great first 14er. I hope those doughnuts were as good or better than you thought they would be.
That is the coolest beard I have seen in a long, long time.

Congratulations! I see you have 4 posts to date. A year from now, I predict 14; 2 years-24; 3 years-34; 4 years-44; 5 years-54 FINISHED!

Congrats!

FYI, I scored my first summit of any mountain you can find on Earth at age of 73. That was Mt. Elbert, the highest peak in Colorado.

I live in near Syracuse, I'm 66, got a knee replaced 3 years ago, neck was fused in March, C-3 through C-7. 54 is for me, and with Class 3's and 4's remaining it's not looking good. On my way this Thursday, 8/13, to my "home away from home", Colorful Colorado.

Very nice! Seriously. My first years and years ago..I never would’ve considered Pikes. I would’ve thought it was too hard or long.

Great job!
