How to do Bells and Pyramid in same day w/o parking?
Sorry if this has been asked before.
I'm hoping to climb both Bells' and Pyramid in the same day... in the next two weeks. There is no way I can pull that off between 8AM-5PM. I'll want to start earlier and definitely won't be done by 5. Parking reservations were gone a long time ago. Any recommendations on how to pull this off?
What happens if you don't get back before the last shuttle leaves? Can you drive a motorcycle or bicycle to the parking lot without restriction?
Thanks much!

I rode my bike up last October, did the Bells Traverse and rode back down to the shuttle parking lot. There are bike racks at Maroon Lake.

You could backpack in from a different trailhead so you don’t have to deal with Maroon Bells parking and shuttles. It will add significant mileage, but Maroon Snowmass trail is an option.

Ride a bike or perhaps get an Uber, if available. I’ve never used rideshare services in the Aspen area

Just looked, seems there is a slot open for July 27 for an "overnight" reservation which gives you 60 hours there under that permit.

I received this tip on the forum last summer…
Drive up to the Maroon Lake trailhead in the wee hours of the morning, pay for parking, and park in the overnight lot. Since there’s no attendant you can drive in and the parking pass is purchased from a machine right when you drive in.
Had zero problems doing this last year.

There are several midnight to midnight parking permits available over the next few weeks.

Ride your bike. It's a pretty easy ~7 miles one way. Paved and everything.

If one has a 60 hour parking permit, can they sleep in their car at the MB TH if they want to try and attempt a few summits within the 60 hours?
Re: How to do Bells and Pyramid in same day w/o parking?
I have a 60hr permit 8/1-8/3 if anyone wants it.

Re: How to do Bells and Pyramid in same day w/o parking?
I realize this area sees a lot of tourists, and probably needs some sort of restrictions, but that's the problem I have is I am afraid shuttles etc are going to wind up telling me I have to hike at a certain time. Which I am really against
I support reintroducing grizzlies and wolves to their historic ranges.
