Where is this?

Just testing your knowledge. I'll give some clues and hope I didn't give it away too much. Clues: In the Gore Range. If you don't know the place, I'd even go for naming the nearby pass as a correct answer so you don't have to be that detailed. It is near a very well known and famous pass.

That's correct. Good job. I wanted to see if anyone could guess the famous pass and had an ulterior motive for asking. It had to do with a recent conversation I had with another climber. Good job on guessing the location.
