Re: Dream Lines
Not really my dream line or anything, but I witnessed a party of three skiing down Heaven's Eleven on Little Wasatch face today in the San Miguels. You can barely see a skier in the zoomed in version. To say it was impressive will be an understatement.

Re: Dream Lines
now we're talking. Heaven's 11 has been on the list for sure.
Re: Dream Lines
How do you traverse/rappel out of the bottom of that? Looks like it ends in a shear cliff in the first photo. Re: Dream Lines
That's the approximate route the party today took.( The entrance point in that image is incorrect, its far left, I was just lazy with the paint job) I did see a paraglider skier taking off Wasatch mtn yesterday so there's that. A lot of really intense lines were hit by some folks this weekend in Telluride. People were cheering from across Revy/top of 6.

Re: Dream Lines
Snoopy's Backside Chute, for the 12th year running I did ski the east peak of the Citadel a couple years ago, but still no Chute.
Dead Dog on Torrey's, also a long time on the list
Northstar on North Arapahoe
Sopris*
Hayden*
Savage*
I think all of these are pretty well in my wheelhouse. But the real dream is s**t For Brains for the aesthetic and location (I love A-Basin). And dropping off of Blanca into Blanca Basin (but I guess that's not allowed )
*I'd love to meet some people in the Roaring Fork Valley for these!

Re: Dream Lines
Landry for sure, but it's not so much of a dream line as a "lay awake in bed and sweat when I think about it kind of line..."

Re: Dream Lines
I can confirm that Landry Line is the best ski line in the state... and worth sweating about.JulianSmith wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:15 am Landry for sure, but it's not so much of a dream line as a "lay awake in bed and sweat when I think about it kind of line..."
Re: Dream Lines
I'm going for Messner this year! Super excited about the trip.
In recent years, I've ticked off Landry, Stammberger Ledges, Ford-Stettner, and Fuhrer Finger.
There's a few repeats that get me excited as well, I'd love to ski Cross Couloir again and Shooting Star. If I went back to the grand, I'd really want to do Otter Body.

Re: Dream Lines
I would say Landry Line, Cross Couloir, and Shooting Star. But there's also a lot of great ski lines I haven't gotten around to yet, particularly stuff in the south.CaptCO wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 2:40 pmEpic!
