But was it an unintentional successful troll, as the Mitsugi signature implies?

Ah quit your whingin’! Some of us are actually really happy about the recent snow we’ve picked up. If you don’t like it, maybe it’s time to acquire some new snow travel skills? Best thing I ever did.

It's now the wettest Spring in 70 years and that was as of 5/3. Probably even further back now.

Wet spring in Denver, nice for Denver, BUT!

Here is the relevant quote from the story:
“For much of western CO, this was the driest April on record,” tweeted the Colorado Climate Center.

Sorta defeats the purpose I guess. In theory could have had less fires but! Instead, just harder 14er hikes.Wentzl wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 10:15 am Wet spring in Denver, nice for Denver, BUT!

Re: Will we ever hike again?!?! Endless Snow!
Just my opinion, but I think a lot of the 14er hikes and climbs are actually better and even easier with snow- in the spring. Personally, I'd rather be on a snow field or gully than talus and scree. If it's not your thing, the time will come this year where you will see many tennis shoes on 14er summits, just patience is needed.

We're never gonna hike again
Snowy feet have got no rhythm
If you hike in these conditions
you have to be a fool
I should've known better than to plan that trip
And waste that weekend I've been given
So I'm never gonna hike again
The way I hiked with you....whoa
(thank you George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley ...great mountaineering name..... for the inspiration).
