Whatever that storm that hit between now and 4/18 might've refreshed Edwards. Kelso and Emperor looked decent, could've just been new snow that has since melted.

Seems like the tops and bottoms of a lot of couloirs this season are thin. Windy up high all winter and never really got cold enough to accumulate significantly down lower.

Savage Couloir (Savage Peak) is on my list for May, if anyone reads this and is planning an outing. Holla at me.

I'd love to ski it again. When does the road opens up?

Pikes summit opens on May 24th. The north face is looking good from town right now. Fingers crossed it holds until opening day...

Anyone heard when 4th of July Rd opening by any chance? Have Skywalker and Northstar on the list, and would rather not skin the 4 mile road in! Thx!

I was playing around on Google Earth and stumbled upon this beauty. It's on the north face of Pt.12,995, just east of Peak Q in the Gores. Anybody know anything else about this one or have any experience with it?
