Youngest 13er finisher?
Just curious if anyone knows who the youngest person to climb all the 13ers is.

I think it's Derek (Furthermore) at 30.

If you're thinking of Andrew, he's mainly focused on climbing 14ers and still has 524 13ers to go.greenonion wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 11:02 amWouldn't be surprised if the name had 'Hamilton' attached to it, but I don't know if that's true yet.
I previously heard the youngest 13er completer was Derek (Furthermore) Wolfe.

Re: Youngest 13er finisher?
Was wondering if it was Andrew's oldest son, or even youngest. Sorry to say I forgot their first names. But sounds like a Furthermore story...Mtnman200 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 11:41 amIf you're thinking of Andrew, he's mainly focused on climbing 14ers and still has 524 13ers to go.greenonion wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 11:02 amWouldn't be surprised if the name had 'Hamilton' attached to it, but I don't know if that's true yet.

I believe that would be Vadim, at 8 years or so.

FlyingFish seems to be on track to take both the youngest and the fastest though.supranihilest wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 12:30 pmVadim at six years to the day.
Re: Youngest 13er finisher?
Derek's age was actually 29 yrs and 11 months or so. This is particularly striking as he's an old, crippled and funky looking dude now.

Re: Youngest 13er finisher?
huh, works out then since in the next 12 years I want to finish before I turn 30 as well. If somehow I make it it won’t be quite as impressive as Derek’s since he’s lended so many reports as a crutch.
