Daylight saving
Dang, I always hate to see daylight saving time end in November. It changes this weekend and just gets dark too dang early. That means almost all after work hikes and climbs will be in the dark.
My only solace is that the sun goes down earliest on December 7 (a little more than a month from now) and will start setting a little later after that.

I'm old, slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

Re: Daylight saving
I like when daylight savings ends. I typically work in the fall until I run out of light. I'll get done nice and early starting next week to enjoy my evenings again

Re: Daylight saving
Kinda have mixed feelings on it, nice but harder to get out overall. If you want my 2 cents on flashlights, lemme know I like C8's if you are interested in li ion. Other options too

That's hilarious but accurate, Amy.

Re: Daylight saving
My most controversial opinion: People who prefer standard time over DST are objectively wrong and should be put on a watch list.

Re: Daylight saving
The only controversial part of your opinion is you said “watch list” instead of “prison”.

Sarcasm or not, it's not even funny to post something like this. Not at this time. Reported.

Re: Daylight saving
Standard Time is in fact worse than DST. Less sunlight after work is quite unfortunate when I want to enjoy the outdoors.
Be the best you that you can be.
Re: Daylight saving
I advocate to keep the clock as closely aligned with the sun as practical (i.e. avoid DST), and to shift business hours to adjust for daylight instead of changing the reference system for time.

Re: Daylight saving
Being less of a morning person than anyone I’ve ever known, I’m in favor of making DST permanent and TWO hours forward. Maybe three.
