Earliest sunset is today

Colorado trivia of the day: Today is the day with the earliest sunset (at least in this part of the world). This will be the earliest sunset we'll see until a year from now.

And for those of us morning people, the latest sunrise is Jan 3/4, 720am.

And the soltice isn't until 8:58 am on the 21st so don't start your hikes too early that day.

Latest sunrise is the Saturday before the November time change. In 2022 it is at 7:32 on November 5.
