Re: Matt Baker finishes the 14ers
Thanks for all the kind words, much appreciated. More so as I'm generally a lurker on the site, rather than a poster. Perhaps that'll change as we start seeking scrambles on less traveled mountains where I can add something?
I'm hugely grateful for this site as it is such a deep source of knowledge. Erin and I both scour the trip reports for ideas on routes and scrambles (big nod to JQDivide for his excellent reports) and have found it invaluable in helping to find a steady progression in difficulty without jumping too far ahead of our skill set.
Thanks again,
Matt

Way to go! Congrats!!!
The summit is a source of power. The long view gives one knowledge and time to prepare. The summit, by virtue of the dizzying exposure, leaves one vulnerable. A bit of confidence and a dash of humility is all we get for our work. Yet to share these moments with friends is to be human. C. Anker
