Matt Baker finishes the 14ers
Funny story... the moment I met Matt, I was above him on an exposed section of the ridge... I turned around and heard "ello Mate!" to which I responded "Did you just say hello to me in an English accent!?!?!"
Matt Baker, an unassuming Englishman and great friend, who I met on the SW Ridge of Sneffels, finished the 14ers this week via the S Ridge on Snowmass. No class 3 gulley bypass for him and his amazing wife Erin... no, it was the S Ridge direct, loose shite and the class 4 exposure all the way. I wonder how many people were born and raised in the UK and went on to summit all 58? Might be an "FKF" (First known Feat lol) ... and Erin is at 57 now, so look for another post soon. Congrats Matt ... love ya!!

Congratulations on completing the Colorado 14ers, Matt! Now go get that repeat 14er with Erin so you can celebrate her 14er finish this year as well.
