Zootloopz aka Ian Atkinson Finishes the Centennials and 14ers
Huge shoutout to Ian Atkinson aka Zootloopz for finishing the CO 14ers on Little Bear (via west ridge) -> Blanca -> Ellingwood Point on Sept 4th 2022 AND finishing the Centennials in Vestal Basin with a Wham Ridge solo up Vestal and Arrow peak on Sunday Sep 18th 2022. I met Ian on these forums earlier this year and since then he's gotten me stoked on 13ers and I've had the honor of learning a lot from him when it comes to route finding, scrambling, etc. We've shared a handful of outings together such as Hagerman, Matterhorn to Wetterhorn, the Trinities and the LB-Blanca traverse. I'm confident in saying you're a crusher and your stoke makes you a great partner to have out in the hills! Here's to all of the future adventures you will have in this incredible state and beyond!

Congrats, on finishing the 14ers and Centennials so close to each other. Great work.

Congratulations, Ian, on completing both the 14ers and centennials. The Little Bear/Blanca/Ellingwood tour is certainly finishing the 14ers in style. Ditto for soloing Wham Ridge to finish the centennials on Vestal Peak.

A big thank you to this community. Bill’s work, conditions reports, trip reports, gpx files; all ridiculously valuable and helpful in accomplishing this goal.
So glad I didn’t break my foot on this one. What a gnarly day.

The pole creeks were, in fact, not as close to Half as they looked lol. We got em done tho

Congratulations on the double header!

Congratulations, Ian! You really got after it this summer! We met, by the way, on the approach to Ruby Basin (I was in the group going in for Peak Fifteen as you were hiking out).
