4th of July Skiing - Telluride/Ouray Area?

Hey All!

Our original intentions of backpacking and hiking a couple 14ers in the San Juans near Ouray and Telluride appears to be thwarted by the snow conditions. So we thought maybe we'd ski-backpack to take advantage of the conditions! Any advice on a good place to go that is not super aggressive?
