I've done the avy 1 course, I have the essentials and more. I'm not looking to do anything crazy, just want to get out and enjoy the backcountry safely. I'm in Denver. Let me know if your interested. Cheers!

I'm in the Denver area as well and also like to back-country ski.

Hope you don't get sued for the title of this post!

Maybe in missing a back story, not sure why being sued would even be an issue? Urban Snowshoer, I'll pm you

I'm interested in some backcountry skiing this winter. I also enjoying uphill skiing at Loveland, if you want to get in some vert before work.

Hello,

Same boat. 28M with AIARE avy 1 course complete and about 5 days of experience. Moderate risk level and excellent skiing skills. Looking for a group of like minded ski people. Can't wait to meet some of you this year!

Don’t forget about the oodles of peaks we have to ski late-winter!

I'm in a similar situation - have all the gear essentials and some training, looking to hit it a bit harder this year. My plan is to do a couple tours near Berthoud Pass and then maybe try to hit up Quandary. Feel free to get in touch.
