snowshoe conditions
ANYONE know if areas above Moffat Tunnel near Rollinsville are good to go on snowshoeing? Or any other recommendations?

Re: snowshoe conditions
snowshoes fall in the “flotation” category with xc skis and flotation is not necessary/worthwhile until you’re working with a few feet of snow. according to opensummit, there are some deep spots up top in the zirkels, parts of the elks, and the southern san juans but that’s going to be far more technical than what i think you’re looking for.
