23 years for me to go before I hit the 50 year mark, got a late start cause neither of my parents skied growing up I’m Rhode Island with minimal means, but I did start clamming at the age of 2.

I've "been a skier" for over 53 years but had a period of, probably, 15 or 16 years in the middle with no days.

That's how I started too, but it hasn't been 50 years yet.

Since those bindings were so difficult to disengage, if somebody was unfortunate to break a leg, partners would just shoot them on the spot and leave the remains to snow and wolves. Good old days.

I'm closing in on 55 years on skis.
I too started at Killington & Hunter
Did a bunch of 14ers on my old three pin back country skis
My first season pass at Eldora cost $75

And I can't wait for the moguls to come in this year!

I skied yesterday at A-Bay; so this is the start of my 50th year since I started skiing. Woohoo!.
I started when I was 11 so I am also old.

I would love to ski with you again. Hit me up!

Jack off newbie gaper, per urban. Britt, you jack off nooob!

Killington is where I first tried skiing. Senior year in high school, we skipped school and went skiing. It was ugly for me, no clue as to what I was doing!
I worked on Killington all through high school, or 3 seasons worth anyway.

Skied some here in CO, but blew my AC joint in left shoulder on 2006. Haven't been on skis since. (I still didn't know what I was doing....)

I started on with lace leather boots and cable bindings at Ski Acres (Snoqualmie Pass) and learned on a run served by a rope-tow. It is at 3000' elevation and, often, we'd be cheering for the rain to turn to snow as we rounded the last bend on I-90. Most times it did...

48 years on/off; mostly on for the past 26. Now in the BC ski mode, moving from beginner to ‘developing skier’, working hard to get better. First ski day at age 19 at Garmisch-Partenkirchern Ski Area, DE. Expect to keep going til I can’t. Chasing that elusive senior ski pass. Seems ya gotta be older and older to get one.

I'm 31, took up snowboarding after middle school. Now I work in Breck and go all the time. This year is Brecks 60th anniversary of being a ski resort. Without the man made snowpack, I wonder if we would be open. BTW does anybody like the new parking structure they built?
