3 of us hiked Cirque yesterday, but we didn't see anything or anyone that would pertain to this.
One solo guy we talked to at the YBB bathroom drove out just before us. But he was skiing laps in the basin.

Was this guy starting out from Governor or Yankee Boy?
Hope he's found ok.

There's very little official details out yet. Hoping he is found safe. Very stormy today and last night. I will update the thread as soon as there are other details.

Yeah, I was there with Darin, and we were actually surprised at how lonely it was in YBB on a holiday weekend.

I think Sneffels Highline stays on the west side of Emma, right? Other than that, I can't tell from the article that I saw where they might expect him to be.

Hope he is found safely!

Sneffels Highline Trail is on the south and west side of the peak. The trail itself runs from near the bottom of the Imogene Road in town (Jud Weibe trailhead), up to a high bench and connects to the Mill Creek Trail which is commonly used to access Dallas.

It was longer than 48 hours ago, but I hiked Emma solo on Friday, 5/28. The only tracks I saw besides my own were on the summit cornices. No one else was in the basin that day. Here was my route.

Terrible news, condolences to friends and family.

The weather was looking bad in that area around 11am, we had finished uncomp late morning. We were very happy to be off the mountain when we were.
