Ya man that is a bad place for a body recovery..

In other news from site,, guy got cliffed out on El Diente, and had to be rescued.. Looks like he got way off route from pictures..

Yeah, there was another thread on this one. "Successful SAR on El Diente" glad that guy made it out okay. Condolences to the family of the man who fell off the knife edge on Capitol. I really don't think pretty much anyone can recover his body where he fell at and it's better that everyone on the SAR team remain safe.

Sad but understandable given the risks of recovery.

Was there ever an update on the condition of the SAR member who was most seriously injured in the rockfall? I hope they are all doing ok.
